This position is based in Plano, TX, with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a motivated Solution Architect to oversee the end-to-end architecture and development lifecycle, translating business needs into functional software solutions within a designated domain or application portfolio. This role requires strong skills in full-stack development, database design, and system implementation to address complex business needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Design full-stack solutions based on best practices like microservices, streaming, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with domain architects, delivery leads, and product owners to create timely solutions, advising on engineering across teams.
- Enhance non-functional requirements (scalability, maintainability, performance, etc.) and promote reusable patterns and libraries for efficient development.
- Support operations teams with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation to sustain system integrity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
What you bring
- 10+ years in software engineering, preferably with a hands-on background in delivering impactful software.
- 3+ years as a Solution Architect with experience in cloud-native technologies (AWS preferred).
- Experience coding in one or more languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python.
- Deep understanding of microservices, cloud computing, and non-functional aspects of architecture.
- Proficient in InfoSec and DevSecOps principles within AWS.
- Strong communication skills to advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring developers on system design and code quality.

AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
