The ideal candidate will be skilled in electrical system design, possess strong technical proficiency with design software, and be capable of leading projects independently or in a collaborative team environment. KEY Responsibilities
- Design and engineer electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems for commercial, healthcare, residential, and sports facilities.
- Perform advanced electrical calculations, including project-wide calculations & service sizing, voltage drop, and design-level short circuit studies.
- Develop detailed designs using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize advanced software such as SKM/EasyPower, and AGI/Visual for system analysis and emergency lighting design.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (mechanical, plumbing, structural) to ensure project success.
- Lead projects autonomously, managing timelines and client communication.
- Conduct site inspections and assist with construction administration.
- Manage 1-2 new graduates or junior engineers.
YOUR Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in electrical design within the MEP industry.
- Mastery of AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Proficiency with advanced industry software such as SKM, EasyPower, AGI, or Visual.
- Strong knowledge of electrical calculations, including voltage drop, short circuit, and load analysis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with clients and other stakeholders.
