Senior Engineer/Staff Engineer (Bluetooth/802.15.4/Zigbee)

Job Description

The Senior Bluetooth or 802.15.4/ Zigbee Engineer will develop customized features for MediaTek Connectivity Business Unit. This role requires strong Bluetooth or 802.15.4/Zigbee (PAN) connectivity background and excellent communication skills. This talent will work with external and internal teams that are located in multiple geographical sites to deliver connectivity products.

• Bluetooth/Zigbee Linux/Android driver and firmware development
• Bluetooth/Zigbee/thread customized features and protocols development
• PAN driver and SW integration in embedded system
• Customers support and project management

Salary range: $136,000 - $214,000

Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Requirement

• Strong background in Bluetooth technology or Zigbee/802.15.4
• Experience with Bluetooth or Zigbee driver and controller are required
• Experience with Bluetooth sniffer analysis and bug solving are required
• Experience with OpenThread or Matter is plus
• Familiar with embedded SW development cycle
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Flexible in frequent traveling to customer sites and company’s global offices for meetings and trainings
• Excellent communication skills to work with US customers and development team in Asia
