Golang Engineer

Position: Golang Software Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ or New York City (Hybrid 3 times per week)

Pay Rate: $55-$70 an hour on W2

Duration: 9 month contract to hire

$__55_/hr to $___70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Must Haves:

-4 to 6 years of overall backend programming experience

-At least 2-4 years of overall experience with GO/Golang

-Experience designing and developing REST APIs for high volume clients. ( From scratch)

-Experience in application design, software development, and testing, preferably in an Agile environment.

-Experience working with Git on small to medium sized teams.

-Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra is a plus.

-A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Kafka.

• Experience with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure (plus).

We develop and support a key revenue-driving and highly visible microservices-cloud-based platform.
