Quality Engineer

Employbridge Search Group has a client in Garland, Texas who is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team! This is a company in an exciting industry, that is forever growing, room for advancement and a robust benefits/compensation plan!

Job Duties

Create, implement and manage the Quality System. This includes, but is not limited to documents, records, KPI reports, stats

Tracks and analyses quality processes, and updates or makes changes to the document system as needed

Collaborates with management to keep the Quality System aligned with ISO 9100 and Customers standards

Assists with Quality training, including, but not limited to new processes, procedures implementation, as well as customer and legal updates

Assists with the internal auditing process, ensuring all relevant documents and reports are accurate and available

Has a hand in the non-conformities, corrective actions and preventative action implementation. This also includes improving the process and procedures as needed

Reports Quality KPI statistical analysis and trends as needed

Oversees Microbiological Daily Management program

Oversees analytical testing and partners with the lab

Involved with root cause analysis and engages with corrective action determinations

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred with a technical background such as quality, industrial, manufacturing or chemical)

2+ years of experience in a similar position within the Quality department within manufacturing

Quality Standards experience such as ISO9000 family, GMP, IFS/BRM, etc.

ASQ Certs – CQE and CQA

Product validation experience

Internal and external auditing

Capable of working with cross-functional teams
