C++ Software Engineer (ultra-low latency)

Responsibilities:

• Implement new exchange connectivity within existing infrastructure
• Build monitoring systems for trading strategies (e.g., intraday drawdown, lost exchange connectivity, lost connectivity within firm’s network, etc.)
• Extend the firm’s core research infrastructure. Design, implement and maintain distributed storage systems.
• Address performance limitations within Linux.
• Investigate new technologies to improve the stability, scalability and performance of the research platform.
• Conduct performance optimization of the live trading strategy – implementing new strategies and optimizing existing ones.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Strong educational background
• Strong C++ experience
• Any level of software engineering experience
• Intellectually driven
• Passionate about research, technology and trading outcomes
• Interested in a collaborative environment

Pay range and compensation package:

Extremely Competitive Pay - $450k - $700k total comp
