Regional Operations Manager - 50% Travel

The Regional Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing all operational aspects within their assigned region. This role requires strategic coordination with the Regional Operations Support Specialist and the Vice President of Revenue to enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth. It also involves direct leadership of Area Managers to ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
- Salary: $90-$110k
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Regional Operations Support Specialist to implement and refine operational strategies, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Revenue to develop and execute revenue-generating strategies and initiatives, ensuring operational decisions support financial goals.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee Area Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation within all branches.
Operational Oversight and Support:
- Regularly evaluate operational practices and outcomes in collaboration with the Regional Operations Support Specialist, leveraging their support to optimize workflows and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with financial and operational protocols, working in tandem with the Support Specialist to oversee budgeting, payroll, and accounting functions within the region.
- Travel to branches to assess operational health and implement improvements, providing hands-on leadership and support to Area Managers.
Performance Management:
- Set clear performance standards and KPIs for Area Managers, monitoring and guiding their efforts to achieve these benchmarks.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with Area Managers, utilizing input from the Regional Operations Support Specialist to address areas needing improvement.
- Take ownership of regional KPIs, including budget adherence, customer satisfaction levels, and safety standards, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Lead regional strategy meetings, focusing on alignment with company-wide financial goals, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with the VP of Revenue, Associate, Business Operations (ABO) and Area Managers to refine marketing and customer retention strategies based on regional market dynamics and performance data.
- Manage and oversee large-scale projects within the region, coordinating with Branch Managers and the Support Specialist for seamless execution.
Communication and Reporting:
- Serve as the primary communication link between Area Managers and senior leadership, including the President, VP of Revenue and ABO ensuring all parties are informed of regional operations and challenges.
- Regularly report on regional operations to the Director of Operations and VP of Revenue, providing detailed analyses and strategic recommendations.
- Foster a transparent communication environment where Area Managers and the Support Specialist can share insights, feedback, and innovations.
Key Performance Metrics:
- Financial Performance: Budget vs. Actual expenditure, revenue targets.
- Operational Efficiency: Service delivery times, process optimization metrics.
- Safety and Compliance: Zero safety incidents, full regulatory compliance.
- Customer Engagement: Customer retention rates, customer satisfaction scores.
Success Criteria:
- Leadership Effectiveness: Demonstrated through improved regional performance metrics and positive feedback from team members.
- Strategic Impact: Measurable contributions to revenue growth and operational efficiency.
