We are currently seeking to hire a world-class analyst who can lead the execution of portfolio due diligence and evaluate mortgage loans for acquisition and origination.

• Perform and document due diligence (or coordination and review of due diligence performed by others) for potential acquisition target.
• Identify risks associated with loans and investments opportunities.
• Review appraisals for conformity with initial loan sizing, underwriting and consistency.
• Analyze borrower and property financials including operating statements, tenant rent rolls, tax returns, balance sheets, and bank statements.
• Review property historical operating statements.
• Manage the workflow from data intake through due diligence to final bid preparation.
• Perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, accretion/dilution, and comparable company/transaction analysis.
• Prepare and structure credit memorandums for final approval which should include all fundamentals of proposed loan to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate loan closings.
• Create, update and maintain all aspects of the loan management report.
• Review and evaluation of Closing Statements, Payoffs, Forbearance Agreements and any other legal department-initiated correspondence intended to be issued to or received from borrowers
• Perform Ad Hoc analysis and reviews of potential business opportunities.

Requirements:

10yrs.+ of CRE Underwriting (Special Assets and Debt Fund experience preferred)

The ideal candidate has a commercial real estate background (finance/banking) CANNOT be C&I or Consumer related
