Lead Frontend Developer (Angular) - Commerce
6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Our client is a global animal-health technology & services company, looking to add onto their development team. They’re looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join their e-commerce team, focused on the UI development of their B2B applications. This person will be working extensively with Angular & Typescript, and SAP Spartacus. Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate positively with team members, and maintain a growth mindset will be crucial for this role!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enhance existing applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML and CSS
- Support the redesign and development of B2B and B2C applications
- Provide mentorship, technical leadership and guidance to the front-end development team.
- Guide the team establishing best practices, coding standards, and architecture.
- Enhance the User Interface and Front End of the applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML and CSS
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing strategies, and performance optimization to deliver a reliable and high-performing frontend application.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and product teams as needed.
- Encourage and foster a positive culture focused on creativity, quality, and accountability to team members by leading by example.
- Work with stakeholders ensuring short- and long-term goals are understood and met by individual contributors.
- Communicate and assist platform teams in planning and delivering required upstream and downstream integrations with the commerce platform.
- Mentor team members and inspire through strong technical leadership..
- Assist production support team execution and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with E-Commerce / B2B / B2C applications (SAP Spartacus is a bonus)
- Excellent with Angular, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Strong practitioner and advocate for unit testing with frameworks
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
