Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline preferred; commensurate experience in construction projects including experience in planning, management, coordination and scheduling, and general construction/construction management work will be considered. - 3-10+ years of construction management and/or general contracting, subcontracting or owner’s representative experience is a plus. - Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards. - Strong Understanding of multiple trade disciplines, including mechanical and electrical systems. - Organizational skills, oral & written communication and team attitude. - Working knowledge of basic computer software. - Must possess a valid driver’s license or other proper/official/valid form of ID (e.g., U.S. Passport; NYS Non-Driver ID issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles).

Job Description
One of our most reputable Construction Management clients is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join their team in Boston, MA. This Assistant Super will play a pivotal role in the renovation project on a major convention center in Boston. Below is a list of day-to-day responsibilities: - Maintain knowledge of all contract documents, scopes of work, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, shop drawings, schedules, labor agreements and local codes as they pertain to their scope of responsibility. - Provide documentation of field variations from contract documents and maintain on the job “as-built” drawings to reflect these variations. Keep the Project Superintendent/s informed of these changes. - Hold regular coordination meetings to insure that subcontractors understand project schedules. Review manpower requirements in relation to meeting current job progress schedules, and follow for timely delivery of equipment and materials. - Coordinate work among the various trades within the scope of responsibility to promote a smooth project operation. - Actively monitor the performance of work to assure good quality control, and to make certain that work, as installed, conforms with all plans and specifications. - Assist in the review of the monthly estimates of work completed, payrolls, and material invoices as they pertain to the scope of responsibility. - Ensure subcontractor compliance with the client's Safety Program and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
