CPS Recruitment has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Director of Information Technology in the North Syracuse, NY area.

In this role, you will lead and direct a team of 3, supporting system infrastructure for a well-established and stable manufacturing company. You and your team will provide technical support and solutions for the network and systems of a 70+ person organization.

Duties include:

• Oversight of the team, including performance management, department planning and reviews.
• Manage relationships with both internal and external customers, suppliers, and 3rd party providers.
• Project management and delivery for initiatives in scope and budget for the team.
• Maintain disaster recovery process including planning, and coordination.
• Actively lead and coach the team to ensure employee involvement and engagement.

Technical responsibilities include oversight and hands-on administration of the following:

• Windows Server 2019, VM, Domain Controllers, Veaam, MS SQL Server
• Microsoft 365 Suite, MS Teams, Networking – Design, Installation, configuration, security and management
• Cloud based ERP System.
• Cybersecurity Oversight
• Support for desktops, laptops and peripherals
• Wireless access points and routers EDI processing

Minimum requirements:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering or related technical field
• 10+ years of progressive IT and leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
• High energy with excellent communication and presentation skills
