JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Migration Architect to help us in major cloud migration for clients in different industries such as banking or insurance.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate client business needs and technical requirements, propose solutions and provide estimates;
  • Provide technical expertise in the development of cloud architectures, in the definition of technology strategies and technical decisions;
  • Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders;
  • Communicate with project managers and technical stakeholders during the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions;
  • Work closely with the IT security team;
  • Provide necessary support to professional services teams during the delivery of proposed solutions.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent;
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a cloud architect
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in IT
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud platform, EC2
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience in migration process with Lift and Shift
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices;
  • Ability to communicate, illustrate and synthesize concepts and architectures;
  • AWS certification and insurance or banking sector experience are an asset, so as good knowledge of MS Azure or GCP
  • The role is remote, but you have the possibility to work from one of our office
