Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist
Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for overseeing and managing programs in Panama City Beach, FL. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across the facility. Provide support to additional facilities as assigned and will collaborate with the team on broader initiatives and strategies. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in EHS management in the public or private sector
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with EHS program development and implementation
- Experience with risk assessment and incident investigation
- Experience with conducting safety audits, assessing potential exposure, determining corrective action, and maintaining safety files and records
- Experience in using MS Office
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, such as OSHA or EPA, and industry standards
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with EHS management software
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- EHS certification, such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, or REM preferred
