Role: Business Analyst (Performance Measurement & Attribution)
Work Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
• Investment Performance Measurement domain knowledge; Business Analyst or Product roles, fairly standard set of skills - accounting data ingestion, calculations, reporting etc. if possible with existing STT PnA / FLX / GPA experience."
• Apply functional business knowledge when building platform requirements
• Ability to perform gap analysis between source of data and existing data model to determine model additions
• Effective communicator - can summarize succinctly and can provide details when needed.
• Team oriented - capable of working in a global setting.
• Detail oriented and strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
. Additional details Familiar with Performance Measurement and Attribution function within a custodian bank - State Street, Bank of New York Mellon, Northern Trust, JPMC, Citi, etc.
Familiar with Investment Accounting Data and/or Fund Accounting Data experience Familiar with core securities data entities including: Positions, Transactions, Holdings and Income
Familiar with pricing methodologies: Mark-to-Market Pricing, Fair Value Pricing
Familiar with pricing sources: NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, Reuters, Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI
Familiar with Vendor Performance Calculation Engines: e.g., Solovis, eVestment, FactSet (at State Street their internal system is call P&A)
Familiar with Performance Calculation methodologies: e.g., Time Weighted Return, Internal Rate of Return, Benchmark Comparison
