The role of Managing Director is a partner position that is designed to lead and oversee the audit process for a variety of different financial institutions. Our Financial Institutions team is over 100 professionals strong and serves more than 350 financial institutions across the United States.
The Managing Director is responsible for the customer experience, supporting financial institution business development opportunities, and resource development and growth of team members.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client experience s
- Lead multiple engagements in the financial institutions industry group
- Create a collaborative team environment and motivate team through communication and actions
- Develop an understanding of clients' business and recognize key performance drivers, trends and developments and identify performance improvement opportunities and recommend creative solutions to complex issues and broaden our business relationships where possible
- Be growth motivated, own client relationships and oversee engagement economics and management of resources
- Lead conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting (MBA/MAcc preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in a public accounting with a concentration in Financial Institutions and Banking
- High level comprehension of accounting principles coupled with ability to effectively communicate
- Understanding of the complex economic and regulatory risks within the financial institutions and banking industry
- Experience in hiring, developing and leading an audit team
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Effective time management skills
- CPA Certification
- SEC experience preferred.
