**What You'll Do**
News Corp is seeking a Vice President of Global Partnerships and Strategy for our Corporate Strategy Team. Reporting into the SVP, Global Partnerships and Strategy, this role will help to support the development and growth of current key global partnerships as well as identifying and growing new platform partnerships. The role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple Business Units (including Dow Jones, Realtor, New York Post, HarperCollins, News UK and News Australia) and departments to ensure these relationships are optimized.
The Corporate Strategy Team oversees global platform partnerships to expand News Corp's reach and distribution of content across various emerging formats, spearheads the global strategy to accelerate innovation and synergies across News Corp businesses, and provides thought leadership on new and emerging platforms, products and technologies that are applicable to News Corp's global businesses.
**Responsibilities**
• Support the growth and development of platform relationships in order to build successful and sustainable partnerships
• Support the execution of new platforms deals and renegotiation of current deals to maximize global value
• Contribute to thought leadership to advance global initiatives ranging from the use of AI across our businesses to evaluating the role of audio in Gen Z's news consumption
• Conduct commercial analysis to support our partnerships strategies and innovation including assessing commercial and strategic benefits as well as business, financial and other potential risks
• Provide insightful, timely research, and evidence-based analysis across the market, customer and competitive landscape
• Working closely with the business units and various global stakeholders , prepare executive level presentations ranging from holistic overviews and updates on current and new partnership opportunities to quarterly board presentations
• Conduct analysis to identify potential new partnership opportunities as well as early-stage media and technology companies the offer platforms / tools to accelerates our global ambitions
**Required Experience & Qualifications**
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business or related field
• 12 - 15 years experience working in a strategy / business development role, preferably with a media focus, with at least five years prior work experience at either a large Investment Bank or Consulting firm
• Proven experience evaluating industry trends, developing long-term recommendations and strategies for new business opportunities
• Strategic and analytical thinking, strong capability of project management and problem solving skills, sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively, and communicate with key stakeholders
• Excellent research skills, including an understanding of how to identify and synthesize both internal and external sources of relevant data and information
• Expert skills in executive level / board-quality presentation materials in PowerPoint with the level of attention to detail
• Superior ability to articulate ideas to various audiences such as technical and non-technical audiences, senior leadership, and both corporate and business unit working groups
• Analytical thinker with ability to do quantitative analyses
• Self-starter that believes no task is too big or small to take on
• Strong understanding of the rapidly changing media and consumer technology landscape
• Experience with strategy, business development, M&A, partnerships in media preferred
• Preference for Media and Technology industry experience and an interest in the industry
• Financial modeling, valuation and budgeting experience preferred
**Preferred Skills & Knowledge**
• MBA or advanced degree preferred

Job Category:
Pay Range: 275,000 - 325,000
