Job Title: Salesforce Experience Cloud - Technical Architect
We're seeking a highly experienced and passionate Salesforce Experience Cloud Technical Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of our digital experiences. As a Salesforce Experience Cloud Technical Architect, you will play the role of Lead Architect and be responsible for leading, designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including experience design strategists, designers, program leadership, industry subject matter experts, developers, and capability leaders, to deliver exceptional digital experiences that drive business value.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Principal Technical Architect role is $122,000- $225,000. For the Senior Delivery Principal Technical Architect role, the base salary pay range is $140,000- $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including experience design strategists, designers, program leadership, industry subject matter experts, developers, and capability leaders, to deliver exceptional digital experiences that drive business value.
What You'll Do
- Lead the technical design, development, deployment, and handoff of Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions
- Facilitate solution design sessions to uncover requirements and drive solution and technical design
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and performant Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions
- Architect and document technical solutions aligned with customer business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states; clearly present solution options to the customer for consideration factoring in approach pros and cons to achieving the customer outcome
- Understand the Aura and LWR runtimes, including when to ideally implement each runtime and the implications and limitations of the selection
- Partner with Experience Design (XD) to shape the digital experience, providing feedback on out of the box solutions, complexity of custom features, and translating their vision into technical specifications for requirements
- Work effectively with program leadership, including Solution Owners, to ensure project alignment, timely delivery, and ongoing product development. Build and maintain high performing teams.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts, influence decision-making, and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations. Effectively communicate risks and issues along with mitigation plans. Address delivery challenges, changes in scope, and other challenges by informing and negotiating with program leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 50% Travel for the Global Salesforce Team
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Experience Cloud Architect
- Expert level understanding of the Salesforce Experience Cloud product suite
- Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution inclusive of third-party solutions that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
- Deep understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as proven expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud development, including Apex, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components
- Knowledge of the Aura and LWR runtimes
- Working knowledge of working with Salesforce's content management system (CMS) and third-party CMSs
- Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL) as well as LWS, CSP, and CORS
- Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations, and how they factor into platform and component architecture
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design and database design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, people leadership is a nice to have
- Ability to act as a Delivery Solution Lead on programs
