We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team In Selma ,AL . The SLP will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals of all ages with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients in various clinical settings.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing goals.Provide skilled therapy services including but not limited to articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, and dysphagia management.Monitor and document patient progress, modifications to treatment plans, and any adverse reactions or complications.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication skills and facilitate optimal swallowing function.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as facility policies and procedures related to patient care, documentation, and safety.Qualifications:Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Florida.CPR certification (preferred).Previous experience in a clinical setting or with pediatric and geriatric populations is advantageous.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases efficiently.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation software.
