Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry Job Description Our Shuttle Bus Customer Service Agent plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to passengers and visitors at the airport. This role involves welcoming passengers, assisting with inquiries, offering support, and ensuring the safe and timely transport of passengers between various locations within the airport premises while aboard a shuttle bus. This position requires adherence to strict schedules, ensuring that passengers reach their destinations efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort. The Shuttle Customer Service Agent must also provide assistance with luggage and answer any passenger queries regarding airport facilities and services. WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A SHUTTLE BUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT You like working as a team, toward a common goal Safely assist with the transport of passengers between terminals, parking lots, and other airport locations Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety Handle passenger luggage with care during loading and unloading Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all times Provide passengers with information about airport facilities and services Enjoy working with internal and external customers worldwide Greet and assist passengers at the airport Provide accurate information on flight schedules, gate assignments, and airport services Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner Offer assistance to passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors and travelers with disabilities You have a great attention to detail Willing to go that extra mile You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks Like to build long-term relationships with your customers Physical activity may include: Stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years old Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents Knowledge of airport layout and terminal locations Strong customer service skills Ability to assist passengers with luggage Flexible with shift hours, including nights and weekends Ability to pass a drug screen Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
