If these qualities describe you, we'd love for you to join Ingevity!As our Technical Marketing Manager, you will formulate and implement strategies to establish warm-mix asphalt paving and liquid anti-strip use throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Eastern Canada. You will identify and drive partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers, enabling Evotherm to become the clear choice in paving technologies. As the lead spokesperson for Ingevity, you will help our partners understand the value we create for them and for the environment. We seek a candidate who thinks big and acts decisively.Key Responsibilities:Create substantial recurring business for Evotherm.

Develop, execute, and manage strategies for warm-mix, liquid anti-strip, and rejuventators.

Identify key markets, ideal partners, appropriate product positioning, and growth opportunities.

Successfully navigate the sales cycle across a complex environment, creating superior value for all decision-makers and influencers.

Take ownership of sustaining momentum to drive the change towards warm-mix asphalt.

Strategically manage existing and new business opportunities to meet corporate revenue and margin growth goals.

Motivate road owners (various agency and multi-level DOT personnel) through effective communication in presenting and positioning Evotherm's value.

Anticipate and manage questions, concerns, and objections related to warm-mix asphalt (WMA).

Lead efforts with lobbyists, public relations, government, regulatory, and research institutions to drive change.

Achieve specification adoption across the territory and establish Evotherm as the preferred paving technology.

Master all aspects (properties, design, testing, construction, performance) of Evotherm's performance compared to hot-mix asphalt across commonly employed mix types (Superpave, SMA, dense & open graded).

Build trust-based relationships with key partners through frequent face-to-face interactions (various agencies, liquid asphalt suppliers, contractors, road owners).

Direct and coordinate resources needed for successful demonstrations and paving projects.

Serve as the communication nucleus for key customers, partners, and the Charleston support team.

Provide hands-on support during construction as needed.

Apply quality and technical expertise to lead and support Evotherm construction projects at hot mix plants and job sites.

Coordinate with our field support team to troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during mix construction and laydown, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Manage the installation and integration of Evotherm pumps and tanks at customer facilities.

This is a remote position within the defined territory.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.

5+ years of industry experience required.

Strong technical expertise in pavement design and construction, with active participation in the paving industry preferred.

Background in asphalt materials, asphalt plants, and asphalt construction is preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot paving operations and mix design issues is preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships across governmental agencies and contractors.

A genuine curiosity and problem-solving mindset.

Willingness to travel 50% or more.
