Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market dataDescription:Provide support to the systems engineering of SOF C5ISR systems that are fielded and out-of-production including engineering analysis, requirements definition, solution engineering, logistics planning, and Test and Evaluation (T&E).Provide support to the systems engineering of SOF C5ISR systems that are in production, modernization, and modification phases including engineering analysis, requirements definition, solution engineering, logistics planning, and T&E.Provide support to the systems engineering of SOF C5ISR systems that are in all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, requirements, engineering, logistics planning, and T&E.Provide support to systems engineering of SOF C5ISR systems that are in varying phases of research and development including engineering analysis, design, planning, and T&E.Support research and gaining knowledge of the latest emergent technologies and products (both commercial and non-commercial) that best serve the SOF communities operational needs, threats, and gaps considering existing trade studies or analyses of alternatives.Support studies to assess the feasibility of the latest technologies and products for suitability to SOF C5ISR specific applications to improve existing systems and provide new capabilities, considering affordability, applicability, size, weight, power, and environmental needs.Shall support assessing requirements of SOF C5ISR systems, subsystems, and components through consideration of required utilization, performance, cybersecurity, safety, user feedback, deficiency reports, field experience, Combat Mission Needs Statements (CMNSs), and environmental and operational data.Support the tasks associated with conducting site surveys and reviewing existing surveys of relevant facilities, platforms, systems, locations, and units and consequently identify requirements and constraints to include: space considerations, security constraints, human factors, operational environment, and capabilities.Shall support requirements analysis considering Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certifications and specifications as well as required cybersecurity postures and vulnerabilities and subsequently provide recommendations to resolve or mitigate potential threats within a requirements traceability matrix.Shall execute and/or shall support the development of preliminary and detailed designs of new and existing SOF C5ISR systems based on approved requirements by identifying potential risk areas, alternatives, and recommended design modifications to meet interoperability requirements.Shall execute and/or shall support the design or redesign of systems for covert operations, concealment, feature disguise, tamper-proof operation, fail-safe operation, intrusion detection and self-destruct features, and extreme environment operation.Shall support solution engineering by developing documentation or inputs to documentation IAW applicable law and DoD, non-DoD, and specific agency policy to maintain compliance for an in-depth cybersecurity posture, including vulnerability assessments, security requirements, architectures, and processes and procedures for both in-place and proposed systems.Shall support system design by developing or providing inputs to designs; modifying technical reports, drawings, and material lists; and by participating in meetings that require system design expertise such as technical reviews, functional and physical configuration audits, and conferences/presentations.Experience:Less than 3 years of experience required.Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering or any type of engineering discipline.Security Clearance:Security clearance required Secret.Location:Contractor Site within 50 miles of WOLF St. Inigoes, MD.
