Head of Engineering

Overview:We are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our technology architecture and transformation initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader with strong architectural expertise and a track record of driving large-scale transformations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the strategic vision and architecture for technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.Drive transformational initiatives to modernize legacy systems and processes for enhanced efficiency, scalability, and performance.Oversee end-to-end delivery of engineering projects to ensure high-quality outcomes meeting time, budget, and scope requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate architectural standards into project execution.Promote best practices for architecture, development, and delivery, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Mentor and develop engineering talent to build a high-performing team capable of tackling complex challenges.Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance system architecture and delivery capabilities.Manage stakeholder relationships, effectively communicating architectural strategies and project updates.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.10+ years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on architecture and transformation; at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems and solutions.Strong understanding of modern architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., microservices, cloud architecture, DevOps).Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies and transformation initiatives.Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
