This role will coordinate and lead the development of the architecture for complex skills and solutions that automate decisions for our AH business. Within IT, our team is responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide intelligent automation solutions that enable Animal Health to be data-focused, self-driving, and ensure the reliability of information management. The position reports to the Animal Health IT Intelligent Automation & Enterprise Data lead.Responsibilities
Develop Decision Intelligence Roadmaps, optimizing processes from design to implementation of relevant cognitive use casesLead the Solution Design of Decision Intelligence ‘skills’ through creative thinking and translating business needs into both functional & technical detailed requirements, and onwards into a working solutionLead the Solution Implementation of Decision Intelligence ‘skills’ through the use of well-structured project documents such as project plans, solution back-logs, user stories, and more, in line with our company’s SDLC processesCoordinate small teams (e.g. 3 – 5 people) of expert roles (e.g. Skill Builders, UI builders, Data Scientists and Decision Intelligence Functional Experts) located in different geographiesApply Data Analytics and Data Science Best Practices across the different project phases and activities with a strong focus on simplicity, scalability, efficiency, and transparencyCoach other team members along their learning journey, in order to help scale our practice and truly drive an impact that mattersQualifications
Minimum of 5 years in an IT Product Owner/Business Analyst Role2+ years experience with data management, data governance, data science, business intelligence or analyticsKnowledge of life sciences or healthcare industryKnowledge of Agile Values, principles & practicesExperience in Release Management, Solution Architecture, Design Applications, Systems Integration, Requirements Management, Data Modeling, System DesignsStrong understanding of IT architecture and business process managementProficiency in developing information usage/decision making use cases, information models, and information quality assessmentsLeadership skills to guide the definition and implementation of high-level requirements, principles, and modelsAbility to guide solution decisions and provide the “blueprint” for engineering / project teams to implement these solutionsStrong alignment with enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and ability to ensure that the organization’s IT landscape supports its long-term objectivesStrong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and have the ability to influence and motivate others. They should have excellent emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Networking and partnerships should be a key strengthWhat we offer
