Find it at Spectrum, named one of the 2023 Top 100 Internship Programs in the United States by WayUp and Yello.Our internships are designed to provide:Opportunities to gain new skills and elevate the ones you already have, all in a robust and forward-thinking business setting.First-rate, hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry.Opportunities to connect you with people who can give you a better understanding of the industry and help you accomplish real goals you can add to your resume, this includes assigning you a formal mentor and interactions with senior executives.What you can expect in this roleAs a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 28th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.Internship responsibilities may includeThe Human Resources Summer Intern will work with our Talent Development organization which is a Center of Excellence (COE) in the Human Resource Organization. You will gain exposure to various aspects or work related which may include learning, leadership development, and talent management programs. Practical, hands-on experience may include:Principles of leadership for Directors: Support the project manager on areas such as content design and creation of resources.Data analysis: analyzing data from a variety of sources such as EE surveys, talent planning, dev planning, etc. to identify potential business impacts.Skill taxonomy creation: development of a skills taxonomy for a limited number of key HR-related roles to be utilized in a pilots of skills-based development Talent Acquisition and Development programs.Here's what it takes to get startedRequired qualificationsMust be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Advanced DegreeMust have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current programAbility to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the programAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorshipPreferred qualificationsProir HR Internship is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.Analytical skillsCollaboration skillsCommunication skills - verbal and writtenDrives results through effective project and time managementProficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
