We’re looking for a Design Director of Color, Material, Graphics to join us in crafting, curating and implementing the vision for CMG; to encourage and ideate, story-tell, build, collaborate and influence.
The Crocs Design and Product team are looking for a top-tier CMG leader to drive the direction and execution of seasonal color, materials, graphics, finish/treatments and embellishments. We are looking for a collaborative, inspiring and empowering Director to push ideas that are innovative, original, and push the Crocs brand DNA forward. You will own the team and the work to both drive a Design and meet the needs of the business. You will have the ability to travel domestically and globally.
What You'll Do
Implement, drive, and deliver the details on seasonal work with an emphasis on speed, agility, and process efficiency
Build trust and influence cross-functionally with Design, Category Management, Merchandising, Marketing, and regional partners
Operate in a fast-paced, sophisticated seasonal calendar
Drive Materials Library in partnership with Footwear Design
Run Print Vendors & freelance support
Develop repeatable tools, templates and CMG calendar
Collaborate, encourage, and empower your team to pursue groundbreaking ideas that are innovative, original in the market, and within the creative / brand strategy
Lead R&D creative input and process for CMG and supply to long-range innovation
Drive Seasonal CMG vision and team to quarterly Creative Kick-Off achievement
Top-tier at color palette direction and color development
Drive Franchise Personality Direction and Distinction
Drive the CMG vision and seasonal story curation
What You'll Bring to the Table
Top-tier Design Director experience with proven ability working with global brands (fashion, footwear, apparel)
At least three (3) years of experience leading others
A high aesthetic taste level with excellent color acuity, top-tier at material selection, and graphics/print curation
Optimistic and solution-oriented
Credible people and team manager
Pulse on the consumer and landscape globally
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, close to market environment, with excellent time management skills, interpersonal skills, and experience leading seasonal overlap.
Experience driving a CMG calendar that unlocks creativity in the CMG team and leads them to successful quarterly Creative Kickoff turning points
Success driving the details, building process and tools for the team
Ability to build trust and influence cross-functionally with strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, and adaptability as the business needs evolve
Crucial decision making
Driving new ways of for both short term R&D and long track innovation through CMG filters
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Miro software

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
