How you will create an impact

As a Claims Analyst IV, this role will be responsible for handling Employment Practices Liability and Directors & Officers Liability Claims with opportunity to handle Fiduciary Liability claims, identifying, investigating, and resolving multiple coverage issues at the earliest appropriate time and providing clear and concise written and verbal communication of policy coverage issues to insureds, brokers, underwriters and risk managers. Additional responsibilities below:

Timely coordinate with defense counsel/insureds/monitoring counsel to facilitate coverage, liability and damage analysis.

Explore the use of technology, structured settlements, and other means to find strategic and cost-effective claims resolutions.

Effectively analyze and budget the litigation of each claim on pending through timely discussions with counsel, vendors and insureds.

Determine judgmental value on all files in pending within a reasonable time frame and make presentations to management as necessary.

Manage reserve adjustments and payments to avoid deficit payments.

What you will need to succeed

Claims and/or litigation experience.

Financial Lines experience (ERISA claims, EPL, D&O) preferred.

Ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. JD highly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
