We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. You will collaborate with our general manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations, and assume the GM responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services. Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the hotel's budget and quality standards. Responsibilities: Leadership, Management, and Accountability • Ensure expectations are clear when setting goals and overcoming objections • Communicate well with team members and management • Recognize and reward team members for exceptional customer service and teamwork Sales and Group Administration • Work with sales department regarding groups • Learn hotel PMS and group software system to ensure proper communication between departments and properties • Ensure sales inventory is accurate • Make and accept internal sales calls for groups Front Desk and Gift Shop Oversight • Oversee operations of Front Desk and Gift Shpo, ensuring team members have the support needed to assist guests • Monitor and increase ticket and retail sales revenues • Invoice accounts and reconcile commission payments as required • Supervise team members and control merchandise inventory • Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures • Recruit, train, counsel, and nurture positive relationships with team members GM Support • Assist General Manager with all things management-related • Read and understand financial report including but not limited to profit & loss statements Customer Service/Guest Satisfaction • Respond to all social reviews • Monitor and plan improvement of review site scores Safety/Security • Knowledge of all procedures including but not limited to lost property, security, emergency, fire, evacuation, and health/safety procedures • Perform/rehearse emergency procedures; report and correct all potential and actual hazards immediately. Qualifications: • You must have 2 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field • you mus have a high school deploma/GED and an associate's degree • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • You should have superb communication, organizational, and problem-solving skiills • A proven record of experience managing a team Compensation: $42,000 - $45,000 yearly

Compensation:$42,000-$45,000 per year
