Responsible for daily cash position functions for BCBSM and subsidiary companies. Responsible for assuring efficient cash management techniques and technology are utilized to maximize balances for investments, ensure adequate liquidity and optimal returns on excess cash. Support leadership on various projects as assigned. Consolidate cash flow information to determine daily cash position of parent and subsidiaries. Monitor market, make short-term investment decisions, and determine borrowing needs and monitor borrowing rates. Seize optimal investment opportunities and ensure liquidity in order to meet operational requirements. Utilize treasury workstation to position cash, reconcile accounts, forecast, download bank balances and transactions, and disseminate reports to internal customers. Review bank account analysis statements to identify cost trends, account activity and volumes. Responsible for monitoring bank service fees. Recommend cost saving measures to ensure that budget is contained. Prepare and maintain various reports for management. Assist and provide support for bank related implementations, maintain bank reporting systems, responding to internal customer inquiries and completing special projects. Maintain treasury workstation, bank account databases and bank portal user access. Administer and adhere to corporate and departmental policies, practices and procedures. Coordinate and monitor activities within area to ensure quality customer service. Recommend and assist in the implementation of new and improved systems. "Qualifications" Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking or related field is required. Five (5) years of experience in Cash Management, Banking, Accounting or Finance is required. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred. Detailed knowledge of all applicable corporate policies, procedures and processes is required. Good organizational, planning, analytical, verbal and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office software (i.e. Excel) and applications. Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
