Columbia Sportswear’s Digital Technology (CDT) group enables an IT infrastructure and applications across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500+ geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.We are seeking a Senior Director – Digital Product, Supply Chain Technology to help us spearhead our digital product team as we develop, identify opportunities, build digital solutions, and grow our digital product organization. This role leads Digital Product capabilities for Product Creation & Supply Chain for the Columbia, prAna, Mountain Hardware, and SOREL brands. To do so, the role will lead our integrated team on a Digital Transformation journey, broadening consistent agile practices and growing a world class team, to accelerate the maturation of capabilities across the global footprint. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with Direct to Consumer and Wholesale Supply Chain transformations in a growth company that leverages SAP for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) capabilities.How You’ll Make a Difference
Drive product strategies and long term vision to build best in class digital products for Product Creation and Supply Chain, influencing the enterprise roadmap to enable company growth.Facilitate enterprise agile processes for feature, capability, and strategic initiative identification, assessment, and prioritization including building business cases to identify value and costs.Lead development of the company wide product portfolio plan in partnership with corporate strategy teams, portfolio teams, business owners, and agile product teams to drive the development of product roadmaps.Craft product visions (short to long term) and convert them into a concrete product and technology strategy.Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities.Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources.Daily And Monthly Responsibilities
Lead a team of product management professionals at various levels including both managers and staff.Manage the product roadmap and backlog for all digital products.Lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.Partner with the executive, portfolio, and strategy teams to identify key capabilities needed as well as identifying potential issues.Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization.Engage with Technology partners to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure delivery of all capabilities on time and per expectation.Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements.Lead operating scaled agile model for planning and delivery of value thru features from agile teams.Lead the improvement of product management practices across the technology organization.Recruit, retain and develop world class talent.Required Skills And Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience in Digital Product Management. They must have a customer-first mindset, a strong understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages, and the ability to develop data pipelines that can be used to track, analyze, and improve our digital product. This role requires a candidate with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as you'll be working with a team to interpret large amounts of data. This is a customer centric role, working to translate the needs of the customer into online business opportunities.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
