We have developed a disruptive platform for single-cell genomics which leverages instrument-free, solution-phase chemical biology to provide unmatched ease-of-use, scalability, and affordability.Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Analyst I will partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and R&D to execute Procurement, Logistics and Planning activities for CS Genetics. This individual will support the sourcing of equipment, materials, and services to develop and manufacture a new, cutting-edge single-cell genomics product line. Responsibilities will include emersion into our product development team for sourcing operations spanning formulation, filling, and kitting along with associated documentation for pilot and full-scale production. The candidate will also participate in efforts to develop processes and system capability to support CS Genetics' Quote to Cash and Source to Pay business processes. This individual is responsible for translating our commercial forecast into a build plan and ensuring we have capacity, labor and materials required to meet our internal and external demand on time and with quality. When issues occur, the candidate will conduct root cause analysis across CS Genetics Supply Chain and implement internal or external corrective actions as necessary. This individual will serve as the Supply Chain point of contact for Customer Care (Order Fulfillment) and Accounting (Accounts Payable) related inquiries.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslates commercial forecast and internal demand into a build plan outlining labor, material, equipment, and space requirementsBuilds and gathers cross functional approval for sourcing strategies across sitesIntroduces alternate suppliers for critical materials and negotiates supply agreementsProvides pre- and post-production support and troubleshooting of material issuesCollaborate with Engineering and R&D to develop material control parametersSources and negotiates pricing of materials, equipment, lab consumables and servicesManages Supplier Master and Material Master data and collaborates across operations for Bill of Material(BOM) and RoutingsParticipates in cost savings initiatives and E&O reduction across Operations and R&DMaintains relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor Supply Chain performance and identify areas for improvementSupports Implementation of End-To-End Quote to Cash Software for global useIdentifies issues, root-causes and implements corrective actions within the Source To Pay and Quote to Cash processWork closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Support in the resolution of Supply Chain non-conformances and customer reported issuesSupports supplier selection for equipment and material selection to meet product design and scalability goalsCreates a light and scalable S&OP process suitable for a small companyAdditional duties as requiredMinimum Requirements/QualificationsA or B.S with 1+ year of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning or related area in the life sciences and genomics is highly preferredPreferred educational background in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Biology, Engineering, or other related majorsAPICS/ISM certification or Project Management Certification a plusKnowledge of Supply Chain processes and their integrations with Manufacturing, Accounting and Commercial functionsFamiliarity with ERP (NetSuite, SAP or others)Familiarity supporting cost saving initiatives and E&O reductionsAbility to present complex data using effective communication methods and styles, including good material report writing skillsUnderstands principles of Supply Chain including different Planning, Logistics and Procurement strategiesFamiliarity with the Life Sciences, Biotech or Pharma industryExperience in Procurement, Planning and Inventory ManagementUnderstanding of Product Costing, Yield, Quality, Productivity, and On-time delivery metricsExperience working with contract manufacturing partners is a plusHighly skilled across the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)What We OfferExceptional team with a dynamic and interactive cultureOpportunity to work side-by-side with key leadership to build operations capability from the ground upRegular company and community social activitiesCompetitive compensation package including equity incentive program
