Under the direction of the Director of Research Administration and/or Senior Research Personnel, performs program analysis, develops, coordinates, and maintains researchprogramming initiatives, and organizes logistical needs for the FIU SOUTHCOM Academic Partnership grant.Works closely with the Associate Director of Research for Innovation in organizing, monitoring, and coordinating research initiatives specifically with the Security Research Hub.Prepares reports and drafts related to Research Initiatives. Assists in overseeing day-to-day operations of research projects.Supervises Security Research Hub students and organizes programmatic logistical needs.Develops and coordinates new research programming relating to international security challenges in the Western Hemisphere.Supervises and directs Intelligence Fellowship research efforts as they relate to the Security Research Hub online platform.Drafts collaboration documents to formalize joint research efforts with external domestic and international partners.Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing National Security focused Professional Education.Develops and maintains the lab space within the Critical Technologies and Intelligence Lab.Engages with domestic and international partners to collaborate in joint research opportunities.Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing events related to research convening, including but not limited to roundtables, conferences, and external speakers.Works with the Office of Research and Economic Development to track the status of pending agreements.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.Desired Qualifications

Experience in military, government, or international environmentsSecurity clearance.Job Category
