We are looking for a driven Senior Brand Manager who is excited to help build and scale a brand from the ground up, engaging early adopters, building consumer trust, and driving strong market differentiation.
About the Role
As Senior Brand Manager, you will be a critical member of our team, responsible for shaping our brand identity, leading go-to-market strategies, and helping our brand connect with consumers in authentic and compelling ways. This role will require a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a startup mentality – you’ll wear multiple hats, move quickly, and have a direct impact on the brand’s growth.
Responsibilities
Brand Building & Positioning : Develop a compelling brand narrative and positioning strategy that resonates with our target consumer, differentiating our brand in the biotech and wellness market.
Product Launches & Go-to-Market Strategy : Lead the launch of new products, crafting go-to-market plans that leverage early adopters and create buzz. Collaborate closely with product development, R&D, and marketing to align product attributes with our brand messaging.
Consumer Insights & Community Engagement : Conduct agile market research and engage with early consumers to refine our understanding of their needs and motivations, applying insights to our brand strategy and product innovation.
Multi-Channel Marketing : Develop and manage scrappy, high-impact campaigns across digital, social media, PR, and influencer channels. Work with agencies and freelancers as needed to expand our reach while staying within budget.
Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner with R&D, product, digital, and sales teams to ensure a consistent, science-backed brand message across all consumer touchpoints.
Growth & Analytics : Track performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and optimize brand strategies to drive KPIs, including customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness. Work closely with the growth team to align on performance marketing goals.
Hands-On Execution : With a lean team, you’ll be directly involved in day-to-day execution, including content creation, social media management, and community building.
Trendspotting & Agility : Stay on top of industry trends and consumer preferences, quickly adapting brand messaging to capitalize on opportunities in a fast-evolving market.
Qualifications
Experience : 5+ years in brand management or marketing within a startup environment, preferably in biotech, wellness, or consumer health. Prior experience in an early-stage, fast-paced company is highly valued.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Skills :
Strong storytelling and branding skills, with the ability to distill complex science into accessible consumer messaging.
Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics and performance tracking.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, taking initiative to solve problems and adapt quickly.
Hands-on and collaborative approach, comfortable with executing and strategizing.
Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building brands from the ground up, unafraid to wear multiple hats and operate with a “test and learn” mentality.
