SecureSpace is seeking a District Manager to lead and manage the operations of a portfolio of self-storage facilities. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):The District Manager will take the lead in finding talent for the stores in their designated area. Managing and developing store employees will include encouraging and motivating them to reach their potential and be engaged in their work. Also, the District Manager will train and evaluate store employees while inspiring them to reach the company's fiscal and operational goals.
The District Manager will provide the highest level of customer service to SecureSpace patrons. The ability to problem-solve is critical in interacting with current and potential customers, engaging them in a positive and professional manner, and exceeding their expectations in their experience with our brand.
The District Manager will take ownership in driving sales in their designated area, providing guidance and resources to team members to help execute company strategies. This will include the managing of budgets and marketing efforts to maximize the opportunities for each store in their portfolio. In addition, the District Manager's responsibilities will include human resources, accounting, payroll, maintenance, and revenue management duties as well. The District Manager will report up to corporate leadership and will work with leadership to set goals, present results, and drive the success of their designated area.

Other Requirements:
Must be willing to travel for work (generally, in California, focused on Southern California)
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for required travel via car and/or airplane (mostly for travel within the designated area).
Will need to move about inside the leasing office to access and operate computers and other office equipment.
Will also need to move about the entire 1+ acre property (both indoors and outdoors) for customer tours of the facility, to receive, move and restock inventory in boxes up to 50 pounds (on occasion), to position self for inspection and general maintenance tasks, to recognize potential maintenance, safety, and fire issues, to operate roll up doors to storage units, and occasionally to ascend/descend a ladder to service lights and other equipment.
Qualifications:
3+ years of multi-location experience in retail or similar industries or other customer service operation with responsibility for running 5+ stores.
College degree, a plus.
