Full Job Description:We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) that is passionate about serving the community to make a positive patient impact, focused on providing an exceptional patient experience, committed to clinical excellence, and considered integral to the development and growth of MedNOW Clinics.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Administering medications and monitoring responses to medicationConducting screenings and evaluations and monitoring patientsEducating patients and family membersCommunicating with other care team membersDocumenting all treatments, medications and other patient care aspects in medical recordsResponding to emergency psychiatric situationsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION :
Must be a board-certified Mid-level Provider.Must have a Colorado medical license and DEA.EXPERIENCE :
Strong decision-making and professional judgmentEffective interpersonal communication skillsUnderstanding of psychiatric conditions and treatmentsProficiency in administering various medications and treatment protocolsAbility to work well as part of a treatment teamCompassion and empathyAbility to develop relationships and trust with patients and their familiesThis position is for our Aurora / Sheridan Clinics.
It is a Full-Time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. MedNOW provides 4 hours of administrative time to support 36 hours of patient care time.
