Responsibilities:
US GAAP Technical Accounting Analyst role will handle the following types of responsibilities:
Lead technical accounting research and preparation of position papers; document conclusions of key judgments and estimates with management and external auditors
Providing support to finance teams and business partners on technical accounting matters as required, including research, analysis, and documentation of conclusions related to contracts and operational matters and leading the implementation of, and compliance with, new accounting requirements
Ensuring the quarterly contingency and one-timer reporting process is executed with no exception.
Performing extensive benchmarking evaluations
Monitoring, assessing, documenting and communicating new GAAP, SEC and other accounting and disclosure issues
Coordinating with various departments to assist in providing and vetting financial information
Drafting and updating AFM accounting policies and memos
These activities will involve actively participating in meetings across multiple organizations and identifying and solving problems. There will also be involvement with quarter end close activities including providing auditors documentation to support the accounting conclusions made.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
CPA/CA equivalents required;
6+ years post qualification experience in technical accounting, including Big-4 accounting firms and/or Controllership within large multinational, publicly-held companies;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, risks and opportunities with CFR leadership team;
Proven ability to communicate complex topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation and presentations;
Exposure to ERP accounting and finance systems such as SAP preferred;
The base pay range for this role is $90,100 to $138,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
