Overview:We are seeking a
Manager of Product Marketing (remote)
to join our growing team with VenturEd Solutions!Ventured Solutions is a software company that helps schools and organizations across the education sector achieve social good and grow stronger in the process. Our K-12 suite of solutions empowers over 5,000 private and independent K-12 schools in the country to streamline their administrative processes and provide a world-class family experience from admission and enrollment to financial aid assessment, to tuition and student management.As a Manager of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and delivering product marketing for Ventured Solutions' portfolio of products in the US. You will play a critical role in positioning our products, creating consistent narratives around our product, developing go-to-market strategies and product launches, and supporting the sales team with sales enablement materials.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, customer support, and customer success, to ensure that our products meet market needs and deliver value to our schools. This role reports into the SVP Marketing and will help support the wider US marketing team in reaching demand generation targets.This role is suited to a passionate marketing leader with broad B2B SaaS Marketing experience, a track record of creating and executing a wide range of product marketing strategies, thrive on strategic planning, is metrics-focused, and actively embraces collaboration. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, this individual will have an exciting opportunity to dive in from day one and help shape our long-term positioning and strategy with the market.Responsibilities & Qualifications:Position Summary:
Serves as manager of a departmental function within a broader marketing function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.A Day in the Life:Product Positioning & Messaging:
Develop clear and compelling product positioning, messaging, and value statements that resonate with educators, students, and local authorities.Product Roadmap:
Deliver our technical product roadmap to the market. Collaborate closely with products to understand timelines and deliverables. Use product roadmap software to help communicate that to the market. Turn technical info into customer-centric and value-led product updates.Go-to-Market Strategy:
Lead and support on the go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including competitive analysis, market research, and customer profiling.Sales Enablement:
Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver sales tools, presentations, and training materials that highlight product value, benefits, and differentiation.Demand Generation:
Partner with the Demand Generation Manager and marketing execs to develop and execute campaigns that drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement.Market Research & Insights:
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry/product trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, using this information to guide product development and product pricing.Customer Advocacy & Feedback:
Work with the customer success team to gather feedback from educators, students, and institutions to refine product features and identify new marketing opportunities. Work with Marketing execs to turn these into case studies and assets for campaigns.Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Product, R&D, and UI/UX teams to ensure that marketing efforts align with the product roadmap and customer needs.We are looking for someone who brings:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.Minimum 7+ years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally at a SaaS company.Experience with SaaS marketing is a must; K-12 industry knowledge is a plus.Proven track record of launching successful products and driving market adoption.Strong understanding and experience of the education market.Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, across multiple products and teams.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.Experience successfully managing at least 3 direct reports.Significant writing skills with ability to self-generate content where needed.Background working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Customer Success and Product Marketing teams.About Us:For more than 40 years, VenturEd Solutions (formerly part of Community Brands) has been supporting K-12 private and independent schools.
