For more information, visit Position Summary: Security Administrator with expertise in RACF ID infrastructure and roles, specifically within the FIS IBS Core and related services. The role involves provisioning access to enforce separation of duties, ensuring that no single user has excessive access privileges, supporting fraud prevention, and adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Ideal candidates have direct experience as a RACF Security Administrator, overseeing security access to uphold compliance standards. Responsibilities include evaluating 200+ roles, identifying necessary groups for future state, and consolidating roles while maintaining system control (excluding audit commands). This will be a remote role supported across multiple time zones, for a 3 month contract. Essential Duties: - Manage user access to mainframe resources, ensuring only authorized personnel can perform specific actions. - Grant or revoke permissions, setting up user profiles, and maintaining access lists. - Enforce security policies as defined by the organization. - Configure rules related to password policies, resource protection, and authentication methods. - In case of security incidents, investigate and take appropriate actions. - Analyze logs, identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks. - Monitor system activity, generate audit logs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Conduct regular audits to help maintain security standards. - During emergencies (such as system failures or critical incidents), manage emergency access. - As an RACF administrator, educate users and other IT staff about security best practices. - Promote awareness of security risks and preventive measures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
