The ideal candidate would have 7+ years of experience working in network operations who would consider themselves well rounded in the area. Must have 7+ years of relevant work experience in Network OperationsExperience with FortiGate Installations, configurations, deployments, and administrationExperience with maintenance, policy creation and administration within FortiManagerExtensive support of routing protocols / technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VPN (Site to Site, remote access client, IPSEC) VPN tunnel, etcStrong practical knowledge of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Protocols, Port configuration, Link aggregation, spanning tree, performance tuning, etcProven experience with SD-WAN solutions, design, implementations, and security integrationDeep knowledge of security best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation techniquesVMWare AdministrationStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAble to work weekendsDesired Skills:
Associate degree in relevant field or equivalent experiencePowershell ScriptingExperience with Cisco Wireless Lan ControlsFamiliar with cloud networkingFamiliar with hybrid cloud architecturesExperience with network tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Auvik, or PRTGStrong analytical skills pertaining to network security
