Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the M365 & Client Services team to provide an efficient and cost-effective end user computing environment for McLane Company. Lead and coordinate problem management, objectives, and operations. Support objectives and solutions to maximize end user productivity through use of technology. This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to: Maintain a device infrastructure that provides flexibility and responsiveness, while supporting the productivity needs of the business using secure, stable, and comprehensive industry standard technology, methods, and tools. Create a support structure that provides high quality, stable environments across M365 and client device environments. Lead client performance assessment, recommendations, and implementation of laptop and desktop technologies across organization. Setup client performance and health monitoring and establish proactive measures to avoid issues. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure team and device/environment performance. Identify and implement solutions that driver for higher Digital User experience and higher efficiency from M365 and laptop usage. Secure and protect the company's technology assets and intellectual capital through knowledge of DLP and sensitivity labeling. Own and improve processes across M365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and M365 applications. Ensure all clients, accounts, and groups are maintained to industry standards and McLane compliance and audit requirements. Foster a work environment with appropriate recognition of accomplishments, teamwork, and commitment. Manage activities of teams and coordinate end user computer related requests to satisfy customer requirements in a timely manner. Develop and manage expense budget for M365 and Client Services teams. Analyze and report on expenses with recommendations maximizing returns and reducing overall costs. Manage projects. Work with internal technology teams to identify support needs for project deployment and rollout. Analyze project needs, expectations, and goals to develop ongoing support procedures. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field. 5 years of experience working with end user computing and device management. M365 certification strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of M365 / PC fundamentals. Ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete objectives and resolve issues. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 3 or more years' experience leading a team of peers or direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
