Position SummaryThe Material Handler will ship finished product in good condition according to standard operating procedures.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Banding and strapping product to skids making sure it secure.
Loading and unloading materials onto and off trucksOperating industrial trucks, sit down forklift, stand up forklift, and cranes.Some carpentry required, with building skids/ crates.Banding I beam and columns in bundles and loading them on flatbed trailers.Some computer skills are required when staging products for shipping and loading. ( Wynsoft)Some outside work with unloading pallet trucks and organizing pallet area.Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfactionQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferredLicensed forklift truck operatorExperience with inventory/ Shipping a plusGood computer skillsGood verbal communication skillsAbility to read and write English and use basic mathGood organization skillsGood time management skillsSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientation#LI-DNP
