As a Business Analyst, you will support the development and evaluation of analyses and reporting used to provide insights to decision makers around complex business problems. By assisting in the integration of mathematical and predictive analyses, operations research, and business analysis skills, you will help manage and analyze complex business data. You will support the understanding and anticipation of both business and data requirements, suggest opportunities to identify additional insights by leveraging data across sources, and assist in determining follow-up actions to share insights that drive decision-making to address specific business needs.

Responsibilities
Works within and across teams to deepen expertise in data sources, methodologies, analytical tools and processes, and business and client needs, to facilitate relevant insight generation, reporting, and interpretation. Engages stakeholders to identify and act on opportunities to leverage resources and solutions that were instrumental to success in similar contexts, and consults across teams on decisions related to analyses, insights reporting, and/or their interpretations.
Develops appropriate presentations that tell stories of analyses, including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, slides, and talking points. Ensures presented results are accessible, provide information accurately and clearly, and appropriately speak to the needs of the intended audience(s). Recommends and makes improvements to presentations as appropriate.
Determines appropriate analytical tools and techniques to address business questions, executes analyses and interprets results with actionable recommendations, and partners to build on others' frameworks. Critically evaluates assumptions about data or analysis methods to ensure they are appropriate for answering business questions in context and provides feedback on features and functions of analytical tools (e.g., algorithms, statistical models) developed by Engineering or Data Science teams.
Determines factors and/or data types to include in the evaluation of the impact of business, product, and/or operational decisions with little or no guidance. Ensures that evaluations can account for anticipated risks and applies learnings from previous evaluations. Analyzes and reports results or expected outcomes, and identifies relevant recommendations and/or connections to results of other work.
Leverages appropriate types of data and/or metrics, determines alignment with business needs and whether to integrate additional data. Identifies and takes steps to address gaps and/or quality issues in data with data providers, in partnership with other teams.

Currently pursing or have completed Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field.
Business Analytics IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
