Laboratory IT Manager

Technical Source is currently in search of a Laboratory IT Manager for our pharmaceutical client located in the Petersburg, VA area. The qualified candidate will have experience communicating with stakeholders to understand laboratory needs and deliver solutions that enable analytical excellence. This role is an on-site opportunity.Responsibilities of the Laboratory IT Manager include:Drive computerized systems and leverage new technologies and methodologiesBudget for IT Laboratory Systems, vendors, and ensuring optimal utilization and allocation of the system assetsManage LIMS, CDS, and Empower systems that are included in projects, groups, methods, instruments, etc.Qualifications of the Laboratory IT Manager include:8+ years' of experience in a computerized system role in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industryExperience with regulations like GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11A strong understanding of LIMS and EmpowerExperience in project management and change managementCompensation for the Laboratory IT Manager includes:$140,000-150,000 a year based on experienceFull Medical, Dental and Vision BenefitsNo C2C or Visa Sponsorship at this time
