Job Description SummaryThe Associate Director, Marketing Operations and Analytics will assist in managing go to market needs including but not limited to Global and Regional process improvement initiatives, business execution, and actionable analytical insights. This role will play a critical role in the development of long-term performance expectations, commercial marketing initiatives to enable sales efficiency directly correlated with financial objectives. This role will require someone willing to demonstrate leadership by driving both short and long-term strategies by proactively developing and enhancing processes and tools while engaging product experts, industry leaders, outside sales organizations, and cross-functional teams within BD.

This individual will be focused on cross functional processes and initiatives to simplify the Global and US SM portfolio. This includes product lifecycle management, Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP), market sizing and modeling, collaborating with sales, platform marketing and supply chain on demand planning and product forecasting as well as portfolio optimization efforts. Candidates will be expected to work in our Franklin Lakes, NJ office 4 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

Utilize BD’s US & Global cross-functional resources to improve sales enablement processes to accelerate sales and reach business objectives.

Serve as Market analytics, order management/allocation and process improvement SME to support business goals.

Work constructively with internal functions including platform and global marketers, marketing communications, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, quality, supply chain, customer support, finance, and sales.

Support US Region sales team for opportunity progression and conversion management: ensure sales team has the support, tools, and resources to enable competitive activities.

Establish and maintain connection with strategy alignment across SM to ensure seamless execution of mutual business objectives.

Establish and maintain recurrent Global Market sizing and modeling initiatives gathering inputs from critical stakeholders and reporting out findings, inclusive of key insights and proposals.

Assist in IBP/SIOP process development for US demand review, collaboration, product projections/reports and deliver on time to the relevant personnel.

Ensure that all activities are consistent with the BD core values and comply with relevant internal and external corporate, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Directly manage and develop marketing operations and analytics team associates.

Qualifications:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Supply Chain/Operations, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of experience with at least three years of marketing experience; an additional combination of 7 years of marketing, supply chain or marketing analytics experience is acceptable. Medical device industry preferred, with experience in a commercial role supporting customers and sales teams.

Strong knowledge of working in a B2B environment; understanding of healthcare industry; exposure to cross-functional processes / requirements.

Experience utilizing projecting management best practices with the ability to implement in a matrixed fast-paced scenario.

Strong knowledge of medical device requirements in supply, quality, and FDA regulated environment.

Experience in developing strategy as well as demonstrating success in executing key initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with very little supervision. Resourcefulness and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities are keys.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
