You will collaborate closely with our services and other client teams, maintaining our multi-tenant, multi-platform, multi-runtime software development kit that is used throughout the client engineering applications.What you’ll do:Maintain a client SDK framework which orchestrates API calls for the SXM player applications.Collaborate with product and engineers to define features, specifications, and configurations.Participate in code reviews, sprint plannings, and bug fixes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and program management.Answer questions quickly and provide support for bugs and other issues.What you’ll need:A strong interest in collaborating via code reviews and technical discussions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A growth mindset and an ability to learn quickly.2+ years demonstrable professional experience and 1+ years developing solutions for consumer web applications.Experience with core technologies such as Node.JS, GitHub Actions, Webpack, Vite, Nomad, Docker, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Jest, Vitest.Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript tooling.Experience with writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests with Jest, Vitest, or similar technologies.Exposure to and/or experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP or similar.Expert at debugging code errors and troubleshooting API issues.Exposure to architectural design patterns of highly scaled web applications.Ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environment.Familiarity with asynchronous programming and handling API requests.Understanding of performance optimization for network communication.A solid command of web standards, best practices, accessibility, and browser compatibility issues.Nice to have a knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Nice to have familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.Nice to have familiarity with trunk-based development.Nice to have familiarity with HTML5/JavaScript environments beyond web browsers.Nice to have a solid understanding of React and related technologies.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $90,000 to $140,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
