An Am Law 100 firm, with a network of over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide, is seeking an associate with 2+ years of trademark prosecution experience to join its Intellectual Property – Patent and Trademark Prosecution group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with hands-on experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement to support a dynamic team.About the Role :As a valued member of the trademark team, the associate will provide strategic counseling to clients on trademark law, including conducting both U.S. and international trademark clearance searches and actively managing prosecution and enforcement tasks.Responsibilities include:Conducting and evaluating preliminary and in-depth trademark clearance searchesDrafting identification of goods/services, evaluating specimens, drafting Statements of Use, and responding to office actions before the USPTOCounseling on Madrid Protocol filings, conducting enforcement investigations, drafting cease and desist letters, and negotiating trademark settlement and coexistence agreementsDrafting trademark, copyright, and NIL licenses and assignmentsAdvising on copyright filings and domain name enforcement, including UDRP complaints, and supporting content clearance for social media and digital marketingProviding due diligence and transaction support on trademark, copyright, and domain mattersWhat You’ll Bring:2+ years of trademark prosecution and enforcement experienceStrong organizational, communication, and analytical skillsSelf-motivation, responsiveness, and a creative approach to managing a busy practiceA track record of professional excellence and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentInterested in learning more?
