LocalCACI is looking for a Configuration Management Lead to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).Responsibilities:Leverage technical expertise to develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed software and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.Work with multi-disciplined teams and organizations to implement configuration management and release (hardware, production, logistics) tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.Review released engineering change requests and data to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.Work closely with organizational stakeholders to ensure the proper configuration standards for hardware, software, and documentation assets.Implement configuration management processes and procedures according to the Configuration Management SOP.Prepare and deliver monthly Change Control Board agenda for review, lead monthly meetings, and provide meeting minutes.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.Manage the configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.Understand and manage basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.Assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.Define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrating those scripts with the hardware and software build process.Improve and optimize the CM process and tools.Required Skills:Current Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility.10 years as a configuration manager managing large IT support teams with geographically dispersed organizations.8 years implementing & managing process improvements and automations within an IT environment.5 years of experience supporting high-level & senior Government customers.Current ITIL 4 Certification.Desired Skills:Familiarity with Configuration Management standards including DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), MIL-HDBK-61, and ISO10007.Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and NIST SP 800-53.A thorough knowledge of software and hardware configuration management principles and procedures, as well as an understanding of the systems development life cycle.Ability to read technical documentation and identify alignment and/or conflict with process requirements and policies.Demonstrated understanding of Configuration Management (CM) processes and knowledge in cloud and software defined networking principles and technologies is preferred.Experience with DoD Defense Planning Guidance (DPG) Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity:
