Transporting Patients To The Emergency RoomPatrolling: Walking the hospital grounds and looking for anything suspicious or concerningReporting: Notifying leadership or other security officers of anything importantControlling access: Ensuring that only authorized people can enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or outPreventing crime: Trying to stop criminal activity, such as theft, vandalism, and disturbancesResponding to emergencies: Helping with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disastersManaging issues: Addressing security issues with patients or visitors, and using verbal de-escalation skills to resolve safety incidentsMaintaining confidentiality: Being discreet when handling private informationResponsibilities:Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving mannerConduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed rolesPossess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
