These Aerospace Data Modeling and Architecture Engineers are responsible for design, modeling and integrating the data architecture in MBSE models in Cameo for the FLRAA aircraft program - onboard systems.In this role you will be taking data types and putting them into CAMEO Models. Create the Data Architecture for the FLRAA Platform.In addition, you will be responsible to validate and verify system data designs and data flow throughout the digital backbone and connected aircraft systems.What you’ll be doing as an Aerospace Data Modeling and Architecture Engineer:SysML Modeling in MagicDraw/Cameo.Working with product teams and Suppliers to iterate on data.Generate system functional requirements from stakeholder expectation.Develop architecture models and allocate requirements to hardware/software components.Validate and verify system data paths.Troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues.Coordinate with Internal and External teams, suppliers, and peers to generate and execute projects/design plans and reviews.Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security and Certification organizations.Ensure timely delivery of aircraft systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.Escalate issues that need additional engineering or business leadership assistance in a timely manner.What you need to be successful:Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.At least 2 years of proven work experience in software design or data modeling.Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance.Able to communicate directly with senior leadership inside and outside the company.Self-motivated and able to track and report performance to cost and schedule.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).Skills You Bring To this Role:Experience with MBSE tools (eg, EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, CAMEO/Magic Draw) and Configuration Mgmt tools (eg SVN, Clearcase, git, Dimensions).Experience in developing, managing or designing within Digital Engineering and MBSE is a plus.Experience working with ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, and or TSN is a plus.Experience with a database language like SQL, LINQ, Json, or Ruby is a plus.Experience with Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) is a plus.What we offer you in return:You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule.80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO).120 hours Vacation time.12-13 paid holidays per year.6 weeks parental leave (remove for bargained employees).Tuition reimbursement.Competitive salary.Comprehensive health insurance.On-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselor.Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups.And so much more.It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
