Job DescriptionThe VP, Search is a senior leader responsible for overseeing a large client retail account, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver exceptional results. They work closely with senior practice leadership to shape the department’s future and play a crucial role in talent development, mentoring senior leaders and cultivating a high-performance culture that aligns with the agency’s vision and goals to deliver best-in-class Search programs.ResponsibilitiesOversees financial P&L management across client portfolio, identifies and capitalizes on growth opportunities within existing accounts, and contributes to new client acquisitions.Collaborates with other senior leaders to drive the integration of services across disciplines, facilitating communication and cooperation between teams.Guides the strategic direction for multiple client portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable outcomes, sustained growth, and client success.Acts as a senior advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, addressing challenges, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.Leads and inspires client teams, coaching Directors & Associate Directors as senior leaders, and contributing to succession planning with senior leadership.Contributes to department-wide initiatives, providing relevant thought leadership on process improvements, resource allocations, talent development, and the growth of the Search practice.Identifies and capitalizes on growth opportunities within existing accounts and contributes to new client acquisitions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred.10+ years of account management experience in paid search & shopping; client side or agency side preferred.7+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering innovation and collaboration.Extensive experience managing large-scale Paid Search & Shopping campaigns, particularly in the Retail/Commerce sector.Expert understanding of SEM/PPC channel landscape, Search ad platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.) and new/evolving product offerings.Familiarity working with affiliate marketing programs is preferred, but not required.Spearheads industry thought leadership and develops compelling points of view; inspires intellectual curiosity that fuels innovation and drives impactful, positive change.Demonstrates exceptional storytelling and presentation skills. Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of delivering persuasive presentations to senior executives, including VPs and C-suite leaders at Fortune 500 corporations.Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.Ability to develop and implement comprehensive Search strategies aligned with client goals.High attention to detail and the ability to move at an agile pace, capable of managing multiple campaigns and projects across different offices simultaneously.Additional InformationPublicis Media harnesses the power of modern media through global agency brands Publicis Collective, Spark Foundry, Starcom, and Zenith. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
