As a Director Sales within Building Automation here at Honeywell, you will have an exceptionally unique role. This role will drive the continued evolution of an independent $40 - 50M business in a rapid growth environment. This technology based business needs an experienced sales leader to optimize and accelerate our growth across two different channels.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and developing your sales team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Overall, as a Director Sales - Building Automation, you will have a significant impact on driving customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and achieving business goals. You will report directly to our Vice President and General Manager, Fire Americas, and you’ll work out remotely within the continental USA.
You will be able to really drive impact on the business working across functions including offering management, marketing and customer experience functions to ensure alignment around our growing customer bases' needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the Building Communications businessCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to identify customer needs and develop targeted sales campaignsAnalyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights for improvementMentor and develop sales team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellenceMonitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvementBuild and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholdersStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in building automation salesYOU MUST HAVEMinimum of 10+ years of experience in sales or related roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growthStrong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a sales teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively convey ideasStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsExperience in the building automation industry or related fieldWE VALUEBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldMaster's degree in Business Administration (preferred)Experience in the Building Communications sectorProven track record of driving sales in a competitive marketStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think creativelyResults-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and exceeding targetsPassion for sales and staying up-to-date with industry trendsAdditional Information
